The healing that I have witnessed through the tools and skills gained in psychotherapy is priceless.
Individual therapy is provided at $200 per 60 minute session.
Couples / Intimate relationships therapy is provided at $240 per 60-75 minute session. Initial sessions can be 90-120 mins at $280-$300/session.
My resources page has a list of organizations that provide lower-fee therapy services.
Supervision, Consultation and mindfulness coaching – I help clinicians prepare for licensure examinations. I also provide clinical consultation to other professionals–previous clients have included doctors, licensed and pre-licensed psychotherapists and interns, and others in different disciplines.
E-mail Communication / Report and Evaluation Preparation (writing psychological assessments for immigration court for asylum and U-Visa cases; disability, etc.) – $2.50/minute.
Insurance – I am paneled on a couple insurance plans in order to increase access. Sometimes, your insurance carrier allows you to see a psychotherapist of your choice as an out-of-network provider. I can provide you with a statement that you can then submit to your insurance or FSA/HSA. Either of these options require that you meet “medical necessity” which means you meet the criteria for a mental health diagnosis.
Good Faith Estimate Notice:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
